This collection of MIDI files is for anybody who can't make it to our concerts and was wondering what kind of music we sing. I hope you enjoy the music - even though it sounds a little more electronic here than it does in person. (hahaha)
For more information about our choir, please visit The Waimea Consort home page.
Many thanks to The Silvis Woodshed, The Choral Public Domain Library, The Classical Music Archives, MIDI File Search, Melody Assistant Music Software, and the many other wonderful MIDI file sites there are out there!
Programs to Play and Play With These MIDI Files: (After you've loaded them onto your computer and Outside of your Browser)
PC and Mac: Sweet MIDI Player and Melody Player
The Sweet MIDI Player suggestion comes from The Silvis Woodshed, not from me personally. I can, however, personally vouch for Melody Player. Melody Player is free and can play music created by Melody Assistant (see below) and MIDI files.
For learning my parts and being able to manipulate tempos, etc., I prefer to use Melody Assistant Music Software. Available for both Mac and PC, it's also great for inputting your own music or creating your own arrangements - definitely one of the best shareware deals out there!
Bless the Myriad guys for creating PDFtoMusic!! I can tell that this is going to save me tons of time in the future! It takes PDF files and converts them to Melody files, which can then be made into MIDIs. Like the Melody software, it is well worth the money!!
If you find one of your MIDI files is here without proper recognition or if you don't want your MIDI file on this page or if you have any other comments, please email me here:
